About this campaign

Po' displaced, gentrified, bordered, criminalized and houseless peoples have created the landless peoples movement called Homefulness- a poor people-led solution to Homelessness a template for poor and displaced peoples across Mama Earth. Homefulness includes homes made of sustainable straw bale like our ancestors sustainable straw-bale materials and will be the only one of its kind in a major city in Turtle Island. Every single part of the process includes teaching and learning back the original knowledge of building we all had before colonization. This project is very dire in light of the increasingly destroyed mother earth. Homefulness belongs to everybody and we don't believe anybody owns mother earth. And because we are poor people we cannot do it without your help.

From Removal toReparations......FromHouselessness to HOMEFULNESS
From indigenous lands stolen to budget crumbs throw-en-
From affordable housing in name only to rights to a roof by any means necessary…
From the cult of independence to the Revolution of inter-dependence…
From poverty-pimped housing po-lice to
Revolutionary equity for all Realized…!!!!.
After 500 years of removal,GentriFUKation, Anthro-Wrong-ology,akkkademik studies andphilanthro-pimpedcapitalist compromises, and consumerist destruction POOR Magazine's family of landless, indigenous elders, ancestors, mamas, aunties, uncles, fathers and abuelitos, daughters and sons will be realizing the revolution that is Homefulness. Its first resting place/its first creation space is located at 8032 MacArthur Ave in Oakland.
To do this we need to pay permit costs to build and to put in utilities for the straw bale houses we're going to build. These permits are priced so only development corporations can afford them, yet we're moving forward.

It isn't because I need another black t-shirt. It is because I believe in Homefulness and I believe in Ohlone territory.
