About this campaign
By ordering a shirt, you allow Hog Haven Farm to continue its rescue work and educational/outreach programming! All fundraising proceeds go directly to the pigs--for feed, vet care, bedding, fencing supplies, transport, and other supplies as needed. Your support is crucial to our success, and our ability to help pigs--thank you!
Hog Haven Farm is a 501C3 nonprofit organization that rescues potbellied pigs from situations of abandonment, abuse, and neglect. We are dedicated to educating current & future pig owners, as well as the general public, about pigs as pets and as creatures. Hog Haven Farm supports a cruelty-free lifestyle, promoting the intelligence, compassion and empathy that pigs possess.
Hog Haven Farm currently has 48 pigs; 44 of these are "mini" pigs, and 4 are commercial "farm" breeds. The need for rescue is growing, as many breeders offer poor information pertaining to size and care for these wonderful animals. Only 2-5% of pet pigs stay in one home in the course of their life--a devastating statistic, knowing that pigs form very strong bonds to their human companions.
