About this campaign

Saving lives comes at a cost! HuskyN Lab Rescue can only continue saving dogs and puppies from high kill shelters if we have the funding to do so. Unlike some rescues, we never pull puppies and leave mama orsick siblings behind. Pull one, pull all...that's our motto!Often mama turns out to be heartworm positive and requires expensive treatment. Puppies seem to always need wormer and vaccines. And of course, all of them are HUNGRY!! Like most rescues, we operate in the red. Now you can help us get out of the red by getting in the red yourself...an awesome red long-sleeve t-shirt! Get one for yourself and don't forget to stock upon shirts for Christmas presents!!

HuskyN Lab Rescue is an all volunteer based rescue group focused on saving lives of dogs and puppies located in High Kill Rural Shelters. We are a group of animal lovers who work together to help alleviate the euthanasia rates in the Southern shelters. We also work to educate the public about spaying and neutering of companion animals in and around our community.

Southern states have a HIGH kill rate for animals that end up in localshelters or with animal control due to lack of spaying and neutering. Their only hope is to be rescued and transported to Northern states to get the chance that they need to find a forever home.

We work with volunteers on many levels. We depend on volunteers toget these pups placed in temporary foster homesin theirhome state andto receive any needed vetting/ treatments to ensure sound health for a long stressful transport. Once all the pre-requirements for transport have been met, we will schedule a date for their transport.Fostersin the Northern statesreceive the pups and keep them in their homes until they are adopted to forever families. Our fosters are primarily in New York and Pennsylvania.

As a volunteer based rescue, we primarily useout of pocket fundsto ensure that these animals are of good health and temperament prior to adoption. Supplies and other needed items such as toys and food also come out of pocket. We rely solely on adoption fees and donations, as well as welcomed contributions of gift cards, blankets, towels, bowls, medications (flea/tick/heartworm), food and many other essentials.

Our available pupscan beon Petfinder.com, Adopt-A-Pet, their sister sites, and several social media sites. Please feel free to share our pups and help them get a chance to find their forever homes.

I adopted a wonderful beagle mix from Husky N Lab rescue in September. I had to put down my beagle this summer and finding my little Macy was a blessing. Husky N Lab rescue took great care of her and without them I wouldn't have her today.
