Hire Our Heroes (HOH) is a not-for-profit organization founded by veterans for veterans. We partner with world-class organizations and people who share in our vision to offer veterans a cost-free, best-in-class, transition experience. The mission of HOH is to empower veterans and employers with the knowledge, skills, and innovative tools necessary to optimize a strategic workforce. Our goal is to capture each transitioning veteran ideally within one year prior to their discharge to Train, Mentor and Coach them in job placement. Hire Our Heroes stands ready to assist veterans looking for a new career or employers who are eager to hire skilled professionals!
Hire Our Heroes (HOH) was founded by veterans and is operated by those DEDICATED veterans and HOH Team of personnel who share in our vision to be a premier not-for-profit organization focused on assisting veterans and employers through an AWARENESS campaign to optimize a strategic workforce; be a trusted partner to our veterans and employers by providing “Been There, Done That” MENTORING; delivering innovative TRAINING to employers and veterans; optimize a strategic workforce utilizing our NETWORK which includes world-class organizations who understand the importance behind hiring our transition veterans and are looking for guidance; create a positive INFLUENCE on the lives of veterans and employers which will allow for the replication of assistance for years to come, ultimately assisting with the eradication of veteran unemployment which can only be accomplished through collaborative teamwork.
Hire Our Heroes has touched over 828 Veterans to Date, provides 2 free round trip tickets per week to transitioning veterans interviewing for their next career, puts on monthly transition seminars, works with veterans daily on helping to re-write their resume and build their brand on social media, and connects Employers who are looking to hire veterans with the HOH veteran talent pool.
