About this campaign
Did you know that every 4 seconds someone's life is taken by suicide? It collects more deaths than war, natural disasters, and murders combined. My dear friends Karissa & Alex Rangel lost their brother to suicide August 6, 2014. They have signed up to join the movement to prevent suicide. They will participate in the Out of Darkness Walk on April 25, 2015, which is a 16 miles long walk forsuicide prevention.They have to each raise $1000 dollars a piece or more to be donated to the foundation. The money will be donating to AFSP to help suicide prevention and limit the amount of suicidal deaths taken each year. Help us in honoring them and their motivation to make a difference in the world. They have up to 4 weeks after the event to collect their finishing balances to turn in. Any generous donation is greatly appreciated! :)
Karissa & Alex'sStory: August 6, 2014 was by far the worst day for our family. And even though it's almost been a year, it feels like just yesterday we lay my little brother down to rest. There was no reason he should have felt so alone. So depressed. Over 300 people came to support and console us. I just wish my little brother would have been able to see with his own eyes all the people who actually cared for him. This kind of pain should not be felt by anyone else. Please support me as I take an amazing journey. The Out of the Darkness Overnight Experience is an 16-18 mile walk over the course of one night. Net proceeds benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, funding research, advocacy, survivor support, education, and awareness programs – both to prevent suicide and to assist those affected by suicide.

His family. I saw him riding his bike once in Tioga. .i smiled and waved . everytime i see his name or grandparents, i wish i would have said more .
He met my grandma once and asked her to pray for him I just want him to know she passed the message to her family and were all praying for him and his family
