Help the Homeless

When I was eight years old, I took a trip to New Orleans just a few months after Hurricane Katrina. As we were driving down a service road, we saw what seemed like miles of pinched tents, parked cars, and sleeping bags laid out underneath the interstate. Ever since that day I have always had the need to help the less fortunate. As someone who has a lot to be grateful for I believe it is my job to give what I can. When I had to choose my senior project topic, it was quit easy because I already knew what I wanted to do, I wanted to make an impact on the community. For those who do not know, senior project is a process of choosing a controverisal topic, finding a mentor, writing a research paper, making a product, and presenting everything in front of a panel of judges as if it were a business meeting. This fundraising will not only help me with my product, but most importantly the homeless! Thank you for your time!
