About this campaign

We recently moved and set up a shelter for the rabbits in the Haughton, Louisiana area. We were very fortunate to have the electrical work donated and completed , but we are still in need of getting the insulation and central air/heat.

Holley's Hopping Habitat was started when we discovered just how wonderful rabbits were as pets. It is our greatest passion to educate others about the benefits of adding a pet rabbit to their home. We take in rabbits, provide medical care if needed, and work extra hard to ensure that the rabbits that hop into our life leave to homes that will love them as much as we do.

When taking in a rabbit, we try our best to get the rabbit litter box trained, socialized and people ready, and how to live the life of luxury as an inside pet. Holley's Hopping Habitat has a very strict adoption application and contract. If all criteria is not fully met, adoption will not be granted. When we do grant an adoption, the new bunny parents are given a Care Packet which includes educational material about rabbits, things that rabbits can and cannot eat, a summary of our standard of living for the rabbit, and a promise that we will always be there to assist when needed. WE WILL NOT ASK YOU FOR ADOPTION FEES! We would rather you spend that money on getting everything needed for the rabbit.
