About this campaign
GRRIN was founded in 1991 and is a registered 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization. Our all-volunteer program provides a network to shelter, rehabilitate and rehome Golden Retrievers who are displaced due to family circumstances or other needs. GRRIN volunteers provide foster care for Goldens until they can be matched to prospective owners who are carefully screened to provide permanent homes.
Our activities are financed entirely by member dues, adoption fees, grants and private, tax-deductible donations.

In Turkey, there are an estimated 1,000 stray Golden Retrievers
in the city of Istanbul. These Goldens
have been abandoned by their owners and sruggle to suvive. Unfortunately, there are not many rescue
groups or people willing to adopt these dogs in Turkey, so these Goldens live
their life in a shelter without a family or are put back out on the
streets. Golden Retrievers do not survive
well on their own among the estimated 100,000 stray dogs, and they depend on
people to survive.
This May, GRRIN will be bringing 5 Golden Retrievers to
the state of Nebraska with the help of our sister rescue group, RAGOM, from
Minnesota. This is a very expensive
undertaking for our all-volunteer group and we hope you can help us with our costs
by buying a shirt to help fund this mission. All
proceeds from the t-shirts will help the dogs in making their long journey home
