About this campaign
YMSG needs your help to not only raise money, but help raise awareness of whats going on in our communities. Many of our children don't see a light at the end of the tunnel, and with these icons named on our tees, we intend to show our youth that it is possible to turn a negative into a positive.
YMSG stands for Young Men Striving for Greatness. We are here to bridge the gap between our young inner city males and the “hard to reach” concept of opportunity. Some of our young men aren't lost at all. They have just strayed away and need a little bit of guidance. In December of 2014 we received our 501c3 status which helps us gain more funding as well as help donors earn more tax deductibles
if they donate. We specialize in job/college placement, group and 1 on 1 mentoring, teaching gentlemen etiquette, homework and school tutoring, athlete training, summer and after school programming, community outreach, as well as creating volunteer & community service opportunities. We aim to reach our young men via social media, word of mouth, and different activities geared to attract them from all walks of life. Everyone has a story. Through this program our story will be told. Through this program, your story can be written.
