About this campaign
Did you go to church camp as a child? Do you have children that went to camp?? We have at least 7 children that will be going to LOMC (Lutheran Outdoor Ministry Center) for a week of camp this summer. Our camp scholarship fund has gotten very, very low because we help our children to go to camp. This year the average cost of one week of camp per child is $400. Please help us send children to camp!
Gethsemane Lutheran is an ELCA congregation in Cicero, IL. The camp that the children attend is the Lutheran Outdoor Ministry Center in Oregon, IL. Learning about Jesus is his outdoor setting is an excellent way for children to become closer to God. The camp experience brings lifelong friendships, a caring for the outdoors, and for many, a career choice. Our children love going to camp, but we need help with expense. Thank you for helping us!
