Gene Kain's PMC 2017 Ride

Today I've committed to raising $4,800.00 for cancer research by riding in the 2017 Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC). On the first wekend in August, I will join 6500 cyclists in the PMC ride, an annual bike-a-thon that raises money for research and care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DCFI) in Boston.

My son, Mike, and I have both committed to this great cause and are riding in honor of our good friend Pete Lundgren. Pete ultimately lost his battle with cancer. However, the inspired care and support Pete and his family received from DFCI has motivated us to participate in this awesome event.

The PMC raises more money for charity than any other single event in the country, $500 million since 1980 and $45 million last year alone This success is the result of a lot of people riding for, and caring about, a cure. And because every penny matters, 100 percent of your doncation goes to DFCI.

I've made a personal committment to ride and raise $4,800.00. I am asking your help in achieving this significant goal.
