About this campaign

I need everyone to please help me raise suicide awareness by creating a very positive visual for those whom may be fighting a battle that many people young and old are losing while also aiding me in the completion of my late sons "TLoaS" skateboarder clothing line idea.

After helping him write and record his first song, we got on this subject of his LOVE of skateboarding. At that time he got this glow in his eyes and said, 'Dad, I love skateboarding so much I created my own acronym called TLoaS." Fully confused I asked, "What is that?" He replied, "The Life of a Skater." After he went through the whole explanation of this TLoaS with that extra glow in his eyes I said, "That's it... This shall be your first business and I will start working on some designs ASAP." I worked on many, many designs in my spare time and came up with some okay stuff but nothing that really made me say this is it so I continued on basically aiming to have designs and funding ready for his 18th birthday so we could completely build this thing together from the ground up.
Well, March 18th 2013, one day after me and DeVaughn had a great day and night of father/son time, I woke up to my son posting on Facebook about shaving and heading out to the "Tanger Outlets" in Glendale, Arizona to look for a job. The next thing I read from him was read after he had already taken his life after his girlfriend called him sometime that morning and broke up with him. I remember the moment when I got the call like it was yesterday cause at that moment, I fully understood the meaning of the term "Silent Scream" cause that is exactly what I did as I threw my phone to the floor as I couldn't handle the blood curdling screams of his Mother, Sister and Uncle as they had found him hanging from the ceiling fan mount with one of his belts. DeVaughn was the miracle that changed my life when he was born in 1995, a little over a year after I'd honorably discharged from the Navy.
I wake up everyday now and go to battle with the struggle, odds and the emotions of a compassionate and loving man who feels that he has lost his whole heart. Music, Art and Family keep me alive but it's a painful War but my son also told me he thought I could change the world thru my music and kindness and those words coming from a teen whom was battling such a battle has become my daily driving force and there is so much more of the story that I would love to tell to the masses cause I've been told by many that my story and the way that I've remained an open book and shared has saved lives and family relationshps. Helpng others through whatever they're going through as well as giving them good uplifting music to listen too has truly helped me in my healing process but my fight against depression and reclusiveness is ongoing and sometimes unbelievably harsh.
I'm on a MISSION to save my life, some other lives, make sure DeVaughn is never forgotten by building his legacy through his "TLoaS" clothing line and hopefully create some positive change in thisworld throug my MUSIC, INSPIRATIONAL WORDS and SHARING MY WISDOM gained through LIFE LIVED...
WILL YOU HELP ME DO THIS???
Thank you on ADVANCE for reading no matter what...
Sincerely and Wholeheartedly,
Warren Terrell

As a father I could not imagine losing a child to suicide and if we can prevent even one life being lost it would be worth all the money in the world !!
