Michai is also the 2013 Skip Barber Indy Car Academy Scholarship winner and is currently participating in his first-ever open-wheel race series. With just one race weekend remaining in the series, Michai is currently second in overall points. Finishing in the top five in points guarantees entry into the series-ending Championship Shootout and the opportunity to compete for and to win $200,000 toward a ride in the 2015 Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Series sponsored by Mazda. The USF2000 series is the first rung on the Mazda Road to Indy ladder!


In an effort to address the additional cost associated with the privilege of representing the United States in England as well as to help cover the cost needed to complete the current race series, Michai has launched this fantastic fundraising campaign. Please help FUEL THE DRIVE! as Michai represents the United States in the international races in England and as he strives to win the Championship Shootout to compete in the 2015 Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Series sponsored by Mazda.


Your contributions are greatly appreciated! All proceeds will go directly to fund Michai’s trip to England and to cover the cost associated with completing the current summer race series. Contributions of $20 or more will receive a custom-designed t-shirt, a t-shirt that distinctly represents Michai's passion and respect for the sport of open-wheel racing.

What Michai has accomplished in his first-ever race series speaks volume to his natural talent and his dedication to being the best he can be! Most, if not all of the drivers competing in the current race series possess years of competitive racing experience. This experience provides these drivers with a solid background to draw upon as they compete for the opportunity to secure a sponsored ride in the 2015 Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Series.


It is important to note that although Michai does not possess any such prior racing experience, he has performed in such an exceptional manner that he has given the racing community reason to pause and take notice. Michai has proven that he possesses the natural talent to become one of the best open-wheel race car drivers of his time.


The funds Michai set aside to finance the pursuit of his dream three years ago have been exhausted! In order to secure Michai's trip to England for the opportunity to represent the United States on the international level, urgent funding needs to be raised!
