Free Lucky from the San Antonio Zoo

One World Conservation picked up the Free Lucky campaign in 2008, after the death of the San Antonio Zoo’s African elephant, Alport, left Lucky alone in an exhibit that has never met her needs as a species. Now six years later, Lucky is still alone, and the zoo has been ranked the #1 Worst Zoo for Elephants for four years, in the hall of shame twice, and ranked #2 for 2014. making it on tops of other lists as well for the squalor conditions in Lucky’s exhibit.
