About this campaign

David "Kyr" Lewis was an amazing man, anyone who knew him knows that. Sadly, Kyr was a beautiful person who was taken from us entirely too soon because of ALS. ALS is 100% fatal and few people actually know what it is. I'm trying to change that!

Shirts will be delivered approximately 2 weeks after the close date.

If you knew Kyr, you knew he LOVED to game. He played until he couldn't, then figured out how to rig something up to be able to again. I rarely ever saw him not gaming.

Because of his love of gaming, which is shared by many people who cared about him, I believe gaming is the perfect outlet to raise awareness, and to contribute to the research of this disease that's cause and cure are unknown. As well as donating funds to charities that help ALS patients and their caregivers to have the best quality of life they can.

To do this, I'm planning on holding a 24-48 hour long gaming marathon to raise the money as well as awareness, give away prizes for donation amounts, and just have a good time.

All of the proceeds raised here will go toward raising awareness, research and to give ALS patients and caregivers a better quality of life.

ALS is tough, but together we'll be Gamin' it Up to End ALS!
