About this campaign
Lt. Joe Gliniewicz served as a police officer for more than three decades with the Fox Lake Police Department. Lt. Gliniewicz was an active member in the community, retired army vet, and leader of the Fox Lake Explorer Post 300. Lt. Gliniewicz was a dedicated lawman who lived and breathed law enforcement. On Sept 1 the world lost a true AMERICAN hero when Lt. Gliniewicz was shot and killed while investigating three suspicious subjects. Lt. Gliniewicz leaves behind a wife of 26.5 years andfour sons.
