About this campaign

Here it is--the Flipnote Frog t-shirt designed by you. (OK, technically by me. But you voted!) You have until Friday the 19th to pick one up! Your purchase will help our FB page do more cool things, and the shirt will make you cool and popular. (Popularity not guaranteed.)

The Flipnote fans at facebook.com/FlipnoteStudio3D present: a super cool Flipnote Frog t-shirt! On the first day, our fans (you) voted from three designs:
10676250_722028084501040_3867029809204363657_npngDesign one was a loving Miley Cyrus tribute. Design two was a nostalgic reminder of the Flipnote Hatena community. And the third and winning design was the Flipnote Frog himself (herself?), looking ready to party in a pair of shutter shades.

The second day was a more difficult choice, narrowing down the design further by voting for the best color scheme for the shirt.
bzpyzgifUnfortunately, we couldn't get a shirt that rapidly changed colors. Sorry, folks. But the winning design, the orange frog with white shades on an Antique Royal blue shirt, is almost as good.

The shirt is $18. How much of that we get is determined by how many sell. And at least 20 shirts have to sell, or nobody gets anything. Not even you.

So, what are we going to do with the money?

1. Print a poster of Flipnote fan art to send to Nintendo of America!
We collected your art as part of the #EndTheFlipnoteDelay campaign (and you can still submit art to flipnote.legacy@gmail.com), and when the shirt sale is over, we will be compiling all the art into a large poster along with a message asking Nintendo to release Flipnote Studio 3D in NA and Europe. The shirt sales (if they sell!) will allow us to get the poster printed and shipped to Nintendo HQ.
Note: If Flipnote Studio 3D releases in NA and Europe during or shortly after the campaign, we will not send the poster.

2. Offer prizes for contests and drawings!
We love our fans, and want to be able to hold occasional contests and drawings to add some excitement to our page. We don't want to spoil anything, but spoiler alert: they're going to be cool. And the more shirts we sell, the cooler they're going to be.

3. Support Sudomemo
If you don't know what Sudomemo is, here's the lowdown: Nintendo decided it was too expensive to keep running Flipnote Hatena, so some kid named Austin Burk (Sudofox) created a replacement. Funded out of his pocket (and later through donations), Sudomemo has been used by over 8,000 Flipnote fans from all over the world. A portion of the money made from this shirt sale will be donated to keep Sudomemo running. We love you, Austin! (www.sudomemo.net)

You have until Friday, September 19 to order a shirt and support your awesome fan page! (They will only ship within the US, so major apologies to our fans from Canada, Europe, an the rest of the world.)

Q: Is this legal?
A: Probably.

Q: How much does it cost?
A: $18 + $5 shipping.

Q: Why is that shirt so awesome?
A: Even scientists don't know.

Q: But I liked another design!
A: That's not a question.

Q: When is Flipnote Studio 3D coming out?
A: Ask Nintendo: http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/webform/ (No, really: ask them.)
