Many request have been made from friends, family, fishermen, and the community for t-shirts. This was the most affordable way I could providet-shirtsfor the event and also able to raise a little extra $ to add something special for Trevor Clarks memory at the 2017 MG High School Senior Class Graduation.
On November 17th 2013, our Son Trevor Clark was
fatally injured in a hunting accident in Edison, Ohio. Trevor had made a huge impact in our lives
and the community in many ways. July 23rd
2016 is the3rd Annual Fishing 4 Purpose Trevor Clark Memorial
Catfish Tournament.
This tournament is our way not only to share Trevor’s
passion of fishing and keeping his memory close to our hearts but a way to give
back to our Awesome Community who gave our family so much financial and moral
support. The donations, calls, visits,
continued prayers and words of encouragement during our time of bereavement
were appreciated from the bottoms of our hearts.
The Catfish
Tournament is to raise money for the Annual Fishing 4 Purpose Trevor P Clark
Memorial Scholarship Fund. This fund
goes to scholarships for graduating seniors in the Mount Gilead School District
and also Oakland Park Conservation Club of Marengo, Ohio for their 3 day Hunter
Safety Camp called “Kids of Field”.
During the
Tournament we are also having a Silent Auction.
We are in great need of Silent Auction Donation Items to make this

This year thanks to an anonymous donor and also Oakland Park
Conservation Club we have an $500.00
Prize tagged fish for the 1st person to catch it. You do not need a license to fish at the
tournament. Entry fee is $20.00 for
Adults $10.00 for under 18 years of age.
There is a 2 pole limit. There is
no entry fee for spectators. There will be food concessions, playground, 50/50 and
activities throughout the day including the kids favorite car bashing provided

Tournament will be held at Oakland Park Conservation Club
768 Bennington Twp. Rd 26 Marengo, Ohio 43334.
Registration begins at 1pm and Trevor Clarks Fishing Pole will cast out
at 3pm to begin the tournament. Tournament will end at 8pm.
