Emersons vet care and supplies for Millers Safe Haven

Emerson came into the Houlton Humane Society in August 2014. When he arrived at the shelter, it was apparent that he had been severely abused. He had been recovering from a broken neck. He had nerve damage from a broken back and he had broken ribs along with burned feet. Because of all of this abuse and damage to his body Emerson now relies on a wheelchair to keep him mobile. He also requires sub q fluids every other day and help going to the bathroom he sees the veterinarian once a week and is on several hundred dollars worth of medicine he now lives with the Millers and is loved and cared for by thousands of people.
