Ellie's Big Give 10

Also known as Princess Ellie. Ellie was diagnosed with brain cancer in February of 2013, shortly after her second birthday. Due to the rarity of Ellie’s brain cancer, we weren't left with many options, so we choose to take her to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN. Over the next 7 months, Ellie underwent two surgeries and 6 rounds of chemotherapy. She was declared cancer free, but in two short months, her cancer was back with vengeance. We brought Ellie home to Virginia in October of 2013 to enjoy the rest of her time here on earth with her family. On December 22nd, 2013, Ellie went to be with Jesus. She left behind an amazing legacy of pink, princesses, strength, perseverance and a love of the Lord. Through Ellie’s short life, she was able to spread awareness of the horrible illness cancer is. We were also able to share the love of the Lord with so many around the world. Ellie is the driving force behind team Princess Strong. Each year on Ellie's birthday we choose to reach out to our community and share God's love with them by blessing them with what they need most!
