About this campaign

Hi, My name is Sabrina and I'm almost 11 years old. When I grow up, I want to help save our elephant population in Kenya. I learned about the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust on my birthday a year ago. I was fortunate to foster an orphaned nursery elephant, named Sokotei. I am passionate about eliminating the killing/poaching of our beautiful gentle giants for the purpose of ivory. I will do everything in my power, to raise funds each year to help the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, until I am fortunate enough to go to Kenya and work with them myself. Please purchase a t-shirt for $15, so that I can start my conservation career and passion. You won't be sorry, the elephants and myself will be eternally grateful.

At the heart of the DSWT’s conservation activities is the Orphans’ Project, which has achieved world-wide acclaim through its hugely successful elephant and rhino rescue and rehabilitation program. The Orphans’ Project offers hope for the future of Kenya’s threatened elephant and rhino populations as they struggle against the threat of poaching for their ivory and horn, and the loss of habitat due to human population pressures and conflict, deforestation and drought.
