About this campaign

Order your shirt before November 12th!

I call it the marathon I never wanted to run.

It made no sense for me to run - a mom of three small people with two part time, albeit at home, jobs and a home and husband to care for, but God kept saying go. So I did. And through my months of training and being exhausted, I realized the lesson that God had for me in this craziness all along: it is okay to be uncomfortable.

I will be running the Atlantic City Marathon on October 18th in the name of ending sex trafficking. Won't you join me in doing something uncomfortable that others may be free? We see this as more than a shirt; we see it as a pledge to stop making personal comfort our highest goal and to do whatever it takes to see slavery ended in our lifetime. All shirt proceeds will go towards opening the Love True Restoration Home for teenage victims of sex trafficking.

I support this campaign because I believe in the cause and the reality that our minimal discomfort is worth the investment in lives and future lives. We should all have the equal right to freedom.

Since I found out about sex trafficking and the fact that it happens so close to my home... my heart breaks. In whatever small way I can help... I want to and support the people on the front line.
