Destined for Glory

In addition towellness, another primary goal of this challenge is to financially help the children in an orphanage that DoD partners with.
Earlier this year, a few health episodes made clear that an in-house medicalpersonneland medications areneeded at the orphanage. Long hospital trips and expensive bills are not sustainable, especially when time is of the essence. To hire an in-house nurse, his/her salary is only $150/month, and only $500 for every three months to cover preventive care medicines for all the kids. To that end, we are hoping to raise $3800 in this wellness challenge to provide wellness for the children. Don't let it stop at $3800, though, any amount over that will go to a general medical fund for emergencies like trips to the hospital.
Immediate needs of the orphanage:
$1800 / yr for a nurse & $2000 / yr for preventive medication for children.
