https://www,facebook.com/DASHDogRescue/As many followers of DASH Dog Rescue know, last year's holiday season was not too jolly following the devastating house-fire of our Executive Director. Of course we were all blessed that no lives, canine or human, were lost and DASH itself carried on from October through Christmas with its most successful holiday season yet. However, two holiday events we missed out on were our Annual Gift-Wrapping Extravaganza (that gets us out of our houses and into the great, wide world) and...OUR DASH-WEAR BOOSTER CAMPAIGN! So THIS YEAR, here we are, another year has flown by, and THIS holiday season we want to give our supporters a chance to END 2016 IN STYLE!
Dallas Australian Shepherd & Herding Dog Rescue was founded in 2011; it grew from North Dallas Dog Rescue, an all-breed rescue founded in 2009. "DASH," the acronym by which most people know our group, has flourished in the North Texas area and to date has placed over 1800 dogs, two-thirds of which have been Australian Shepherds and similar mixes. DASH Aussies have been successfully placed in 39 states including Alaska and 3 dogs in Canada. We love our AUSSome Aussies and finding wonderful forever homes for them. We hope by wearing our DASHwear you will share your love of Aussies by "advertising" our organization and hopefully letting people know where they can ADOPT, not SHOP for an Australian Shepherd!
