Keep Calm and Cure Cancer

AnchorageAlaska Midnight Sun Marathon Saturday, June 20, 2015 I am training to participate in another endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. It all started back in 2007, and 8 years later the battle continues… August 25, 2015 will be the 30thanniversary of when my Dad’s fight was cut short. He passed away from Leukemia at just 37 years old. Although some may have lost the battle, they all contributed to the medical advancements and soon to be achieved victory over cancer. I am determined to continue supporting the progress until a cure is finally found. This year I am not only committing to my biggest event so far, but I am committing to raising the most of any season. With your help and support I am on a quest to raise $10,000 I run in memory of all of those that we lost and for all of those that continue their fight today. The treatments and survival rate today compared to 1985 has increased drastically. The doctors and scientists work hard to discover new treatments and a cure, but your contributions are what allows the doctors to conduct their research.
