About this campaign

The Center for Sexual Pleasure and Health, a 501(c)3 educational organization based in Pawtucket, RI, works to reduce sexual shame, fight misinformation, & advance the sexuality field.

Buying a shirt helps fund our educational initiatives & community events, as well as allowing us to offer professional development to those in the Boston/Providence area. The CSPH has built an expansive resource catalog on our website and in print, does educational outreach--both in our local community and through our internship program, which is now in its 3rd year, and provides information about sexuality education opportunities, sexual science news, and updates on hot topics through our newsletter

The CSPH advocates for sexual pleasure, health, and freedom. And we want to do more! We want to create web-based education resources, instructional videos, provide information for all people--with all their varying bodies, abilities, and interests. We want to continue to cultivate and mentor burgeoning sexuality professionals and reach more communities and age groups. We want to be able to offer comprehensive sexual health and education services and expand into medical and psychological care.

But to do all of this, we need you. We need a wide and diverse network of people to contribute to developing The CSPH of the future.

You can be a part of The Center for Sexual Pleasure and Health.

The Center for Sexual Pleasure and Health is designed to provide adults with a safe, physical space to learn about sexual pleasure, health, and advocacy issues. We are housed in The Grant Building, located in historic downtown Pawtucket (home of the Industrial Revolution and Family Guy). The Grant Building is a historic landmark that has been renovated into a multi-use artist and professional work space. With warm yet quirkily decorated common areas, ease of access for physically limited individuals, indoor free parking, and an adopted kitty that greets you at the door, The Grant Building provides all the comfort and privacy a sexuality resource center needs.

After a long, contentious fight with local residents and officials, Megan Andelloux, Founder and Director of the CSPH, met with her first client in the Grant Building on February 3rd, 2010 and has been a welcomed member of Pawtucket since. Emerging from the battle victorious, Megan and The CSPH have grown, now offering community education events, giving advice and support at sexuality related events, running a successful internship program, and contributing online resources through our website.

Truly, sex education is a lifelong process. Without the protests, individuals may have remained unaware regarding the legitimacy and professionalism of sex educators. The difficulties The CSPH encountered showcased the challenges Americans face in the right to access sexual health, pleasure, research and reproductive justice information.
