Courtney's Dance Intensive Fund

Courtney is a 14 year old from Florida.  She currently attends Davenport School of the Arts and Performer's Edge Dance Center.  She has been dancing since the age of 3 and has recently been accepted into the NYCDA summer dance intensive at Pace University in NYC!  Courtney is trying to help raise money to help pay for this by selling the above t-shirt that she designed herself.  At DSA she has been a graphic arts major for 3 years and has won numerous awards. She has also had her artwork displayed at the Polk County Museum of Art.  The design on this shirt was the winner for the Polk All-County Dance Gala, made by Courtney.  The dancers in the design are her and 2 of her friends!  This intensive with NYCDA is a wonderful opportunity for Courtney to work with an unbelievable staff for 2 weeks this summer, attend Broadway shows, meet professionals and  perform in a concert at it's conclusion.  NYCDA is one of the top organizations that awards college scholarships to deserving young dancers every year.  To be able to work with such amazing teachers and get to perform choreography by these working professionals is a wonderful opportunity!  Please consider buying a t-shirt for your aspiring dancer!  I hope they will be posting a similar story one day!
