About Our Team
Columbia University Formula SAE is an entirely student-run organization that builds a racecar each year—from scratch. We are a diverse group of students from all four of Columbia’s undergraduate schools, representing majors from mechanical engineering to applied math to English, with one shared goal: to design and manufacture the best vehicle that we know how to build. Through this experience, we’re able to apply the skills we learn in the classroom to a hands-on project while creating lasting friendships and memories.
