Climb for Camp Tyler

Camp Tyler is one of America's longest running outdoor schools. It is a non-profit organization funded by the Camp Tyler Foundation through donations and grants. CTOS has been serving  the greater east Texas area for over 65 years, and has been an integral part of the Tyler ISD fifth grade curriculum for nearly as long. Students from around the state come to spend time working the farm, exploring the 350 acre woods, setting up and implementing science experiments, and participating in team-building exercises. 

In an effort to continue the support of this non-profit organization, Rex and Claire Winchester are launching a fundraising campaign titled Climb For Camp Tyler. We've set a goal of $4,000 to help continue to fund this outdoor sanctuary for education in our east Texas community. For each $1,000 that you contribute, we will climb one of the four tallest 14,000 ft. peaks in the Colorado Rockies range. If we meet our fundraising goal, we will consecutively summit all four peaks in under seven days. We are counting on the extensive network of Camp Tyler alumni, outdoor enthusiasts, educational philanthropists, and any other supporters of a worthwhile cause to come together in backing Climb For Camp Tyler!
