Christina's Believers

Christina's cancer battle started back in September of 2006 when she found out that she has not 1, but 2 types of cancer. The first was called Renal Cell Carcinoma (kidney cancer) and she has to have her left kidney removed. The second was called Cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer) and that is the cancer she has been fighting all of these years. Starting October of 2006, she had chemo and continued both chemo and radiation treatments for the rest of 2006 and ALL of 2007. She then had a life saving liver transplant in May of 2009. In September of 2012, there was a reoccurence that was found in a routine scan, and had to have ribs surgically removed as well as a whole month of radiation treatments. In December of 2014, yet another reoccurence was found, this time in her liver. She has since had more chemo and major surgery to remove the tumors that were visible. She currently has a Stage 4 diagnosis and is DETERMINED to beat this cancer once and for all! She relies on her faith in God and His healing power and is a HUGE believer in the power of being and staying positive! She loves to laugh and intends on living a long life so that she can be there for her son Max, who has Autism. She wants to be a testimony for everyone who has cancer and someday help someone else BEAT theirs too!
