Wow! This is all I can truly say when I think about the opportunity I will be sharing with you. I am in complete amazement at what the Lord is doing in and through my life this year. This past New Years I made a goal to go on my first international missions trip, never really thinking that it would happen. However, I have been given the opportunity to partner with Hume International this summer (June 13-23) and put on a camp for the local students. This camp has had such an impact on my life and the lives of so many people I know. It was at a Hume winter camp that I fully surrendered my life over to Christ. It is also  there that I have been able to see my students encounter God in crazy ways. Then this past summer at Hume I got to baptize two students in the lake. This ministry is impacting the world for Christ in so many ways, not only at their main camp location but globally.

One of their Global partners is Jabulani Africa Ministries (JAM) in South Africa. This is a ministry that focuses on, "areas revolve around: local leadership development in the areas where they work (through camps, one-on-one discipleship, traning days and ongoing mentorship, partnering with local churches and empowering youth leaders, pastors and facilitating mission mobilization." Not only am I excited about putting on a camp for students, but more importantly I am extremely excited about sharing the gospel. I am eager to see what the Lord has in store for me through this trip and even long after the trip is over.

14 How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard?  And how are they to hear without someone preaching? 15 And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” (Romans 10:8-15)
