About this campaign
In a matter of days, these women have unexpectedly lost their homes and all of their belongings. Some are facing up to $70,000 or more in repair costs only. They are friends, sisters, wives, mothers, nurses, and teachers and have proven to be Chi Omega strong, but now it is our turn to support them in their time of need! To date we have 7 Chi Omega sisters in need of major funding...
We have joined forces with Chi O Nationals and Booster.com create a simple way for all of us to show our support for these women while involving chapters across the nation. Every bit of generosity you show will make a huge impact helping these women along the path of rebuilding their lives!

A National Disaster of destructive flooding hit Louisiana on the weekend of August 12, 2016. There is an estimated $9 billion in damage to homes in the Baton Rouge & surrounding areas - 35.4 percent of all houses! Recovery in Baton Rouge won't be as difficult as Katrina, but it will be long road to recovery.
As the days went by we witnessed the media coverage with pictures of the devastation, clean up and beginnings of the rebuilding process. After my nights of knowing that our friends and Chi Omega sister's had lost their homes, we knew that something BIG had to be done to help them! Then the light bulb went off to call upon the extended family of sisterhood. The fraternity that gave introduced us to these women!
Chi Omega is the largest women’s fraternal organization in the world which makes us the largest sisterhood in the world. Through these trials, these women have upheld our crest and mission and symphony... "TO BE A WOMEN ALWAYS, TO BE DISCOURAD NEVER."ow it is our turn to show them support!

Baylor Chi Omega Alum that just moved back to Baton Rouge just before this all happened and was also affected by the flood so I know how much these things help. Any way I can help fellow sisters :)
