About this campaign

Do you or a loved one have trigeminal neuralgia, geniculate neuralgia, glossopharyngeal neuralgia, anesthesia dolorosa, or a trigeminal autonomic cephalgia? If so, this tee shirt is for you!



The Facial Pain Advocacy Alliance is hard at work on projects to raise awareness of all of these conditions. In addition to our one-of-a-kind, one-stop website, face-facts.org, we are researching and sharing information through our blog on a regular basis. This tee shirt fundraiser series will enable us to do even more for you!

How many times have you sat in a doctor's waiting room reading pamphlets about every condition under the sun but yours? Where is the pamphlet on chronic facial pain?? Up until now, the answer has been: there isn't one. BUT... FPAA is in the final stages of producing an informational pamphlet to meet that need.



By filling doctor's waiting rooms with this very important information, we will not only spread awareness to patients who may not even be diagnosed yet, we will reach doctors themselves, many of whom may not be up to date on currently accepted treatment for these conditions.



The pamphlets will also be available to print for free at our website www.face-facts.org. Keep some on you to provide a ready answer to the oft repeated refrain, "I've never heard of _______ neuralgia. What is it?"



Every tee shirt you buy will generate a small profit that will go directly to FPAA to help fund our pamphlet project. While we have so far operated without the benefit of public contributions, we will require donations to make the pamphlet a reality.

THIS IS THE FIRST IN A SERIES OF TEE SHIRT FUNDRAISERS HOSTED BY FPAA. EACH SHIRT WILL HAVE A DIFFERENT ORIGINAL DESIGN AND EACH DESIGN WILL BE AVAILABLE ON BOOSTER FOR A LIMITED TIME ONLY.

The Facial Pain Advocacy Alliance (FPAA) is a collaborative effort of chronic facial pain patients and patient groups to empower each other with unbiased facts, and to provide physicians who are not versed in chronic facial pain with a one stop resource to aid in early intervention.

Face-Facts.org is a continuously updated website featuring the most comprehensive information available on all forms of primary and secondary chronic facial pain conditions.

It is our mission provide patients a clear path forward. Our website features a full work up of each primary and secondary disorder, original articles updated regularly, and a database of currently available research and in-progress trials. We also house a section dedicated to support groups worldwide, arranged by country, language, and specific condition; and filtered by subtopic.

Our long term vision includes too many initiatives and projects to list! All on behalf of chronic facial pain patients everywhere.

We Need Your Help

We are not a brick and mortar organization. We are chronic facial pain patients, just like yourselves. Because we are not tied down to an office building and the expenses that involves (rent/mortgage, repairs, upkeep, staffing, security, furniture, hardware, utilities, etc.) our financial needs are considerably smaller than organizations residing in an actual office.

Additionally, for the foreseeable future all Facial Pain Advocacy Alliance contributors will be volunteers, thus freeing us of the expense of paying salaries.

Your donations, instead of being used to feed our overhead or pay large CEO salaries, will go directly to absolute necessities, which include:

- hosting the Face Facts website and email addresses
- maintaining the website with licensed and original media
- acquiring 501(c)3 non profit status with the IRS, enabling our donors to deduct their contributions from their taxes

There are minimal expenses beyond these three and we promise total transparency and full disclosure of our finances. Always.
