About this campaign

25% of the homeless in this country, are made up of Veterans. On any given night, 62,000 Veterans are wondering the streets looking for help. Centurion's Watch, a non profit organization, founded by Doug Hedrick, and a group of committed Veterans, are working to improve the lives of Veterans and their families. One of those ways, is by lifting Veterans out of homelessness and restoring their families. The Live a Life Worth Living brand was created to inspire people to take action on the most important things in life. It was also created to give back. And one of those ways is to use profits from the sale of apparel to help fund and partner with organizations who are making a profound impact in the lives of our nations Veterans and their families. One such organization is the Homeless Veterans Assistance Foundation (HVAF), based in Indianapolis, IN, who is dedicated to end Veteran homelessness for veterans and their families.

Doug is a Veteran and officer in the United States Army Reserves. He became known by the soldiers as the “live a life worth living guy" because, during his weekly talks, he would routinely include this slogan at the end. What started out as a simple slogan intended to inspire soldiers in carrying out their missions, quickly grew into a powerful tool soldiers were able to use to gain perspective in their darkest hours. A few years after returning home from Iraq, Doug was inspired to start a ministry that would bring hope to military families. He already felt not enough was being done so in just a short span of time, the ministry of Centurion's Watch would see hundreds of marriages restored and inspire many others to live a life worth living. And so its mission continues, to equip those who want to learn how they can live a life worth living and to give back, and help improve the lives of our nation's heroes and their families.
