About this campaign
Shooting independent movies takes money--even when you have all the gear and talent you need! Our goal is to raise $1500-2000 (though more would be appreciated) for our production needs. Specifically, your donations would be used to create practical effects and allow us to secure key wardrobe needs for the film.
Elsinore Productions is the independent film company of writer/director Rich Newman. Rich is the founder of the Memphis Film Society, the producer of the Memphis 48 Hour Film Project, and an author of seven books.
"By the Silvery Moon" is the latest project--and the second feature film--from Elsinore Productions. It is a supernatural thriller that focuses on a soldier who has just returned home from three years abroad. Haunted by those he left behind and experiences while deployed, he slowly becomes the monster he believes himself to be.
