My mother passed away in 2015. When she left us, she was not able to say goodbye nor remember who she was or the family she left behind. Not a day goes by that I don't think of her and wished we could have done more if we had known the early signs of dementia. Only through continued education and support for the Alzheimer's Association can we hope for a cure and stop the loss of memories for everyone. I walk to remember my mother and bring attention to this disease. This T-shirt represents a collaboration between Lily and me. She was an artist, a singer, a gardener, a wife, and my mother.
