Help Beau's Bridge Club Help Chester

Chester is a sweet 4 year old pit mix who found himself as a stray. He was picked up by animal control, but soon discovered he had a tumor on his penis, of all places. The shelter didn't have the resources to help Chester out, so a wonderful volunteer reached out to us- Beau's Bridge Club.

Well, we scooped Chester up and took him to the vet where it was discovered after many rounds of tests that he has squamous cell carcinoma, a type of skin cancer most likely caused by sun exposure. Because of the placement of the tumor, Chester will need to have his penis completely removed. In the long run, it won't affect his health at all, he'll just need to adjust to a different way of urinating. This surgery should also eliminate the possibility of spread of the cancer as it hasn't been detected elsewhere in his body.

Please help us get this sweet boy fixed up so we can find him a forever family to live his happily ever after with.
