Just a couple of Stage 4 Cancer Thrivers living life to the fullest

We are Kim and J. Builta. We have 2 beautiful daughters, one in college and one about to graduate from High School and head off to college in the fall.

where I document our story of living with cancer for more than 12 years. 
I (Kim) have been living with cancer for 12 years. Originally diagnosed in 2003 with Stage 3 breast cancer, the ugly disease reared its ugly head again in 2010. At that point I was diagnosed with metastasis to my bones. We adjusted to a new 'normal'.
Although I had been fighting and beating this nasty disease for many years, it never occurred to us that our lives would be so drastically affected again by this crazy thing called Cancer.
However, on September 22, 2015, Cancer played another wild card and J.R. was diagnosed with Stage 4 Renal Cancer with metastasis to his lungs.
Now our 'normal' has changed again.
We have been blessed to be part of the best church family at First United Methodist Church Round Rock. They have shown us what it really means to be the hands of feet of Jesus.
