4K for Cancer Bike Across America Cycling Gear Fundraiser

4K for Cancer is a 70-day 4,000+ mile journey across the country to provide support and raise money for young adults with cancer. I will be riding approximately 70 miles a day and will be visiting cancer patients in centers, hospices, and hospitals along the way. In addition to the $4,500 I have committed to raise for the Ulman Cancer Fund, I am left to finance the trip by myself. As a novice cycler, it did not take long for me to realize that cycling equipment is not cheap! To give you an idea of the prices - bike shorts cost about $100 (it is recommended that I bring 3 pairs), and bike shoes cost at least $150. Once I purchase all the equipment necessary for my trip (extra tire tubes, riding jerseys, biking gloves, pedals, sunglasses, etc.) I will be spending well over $1,000. As a broke college student, I need some help funding my cross country trip to fight cancer. Please consider purchasing a t-shirt or two to help fund my trip! THANK YOU!
