Bonnie's Bunch Team in Training Fundraiser

We have a mission-to help find cures and more effective treatments for blood cancers. To accomplish that mission, we are hiking the Grand Canyon the weekend of May 17, 2014 as a member of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team In Training. Like the other members of TNT, we will be raising funds to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. We are improving the quality of our lives by participating and with your support, we can help improve the quality of life for patients and their families as well.

 We got involved with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in 2004. My mother passed away from Lymphoma in 2003 and it was and is a devastating loss to our family. For the past eleven years Bonnie's Bunch has raised over $125,000! This year we have decided to challenge ourselves and hike the Grand Canyon with LLS Team in Training. We will be training for the next couple of months to hike an area that my mom thought was beautiful.

 In the past 11 years LLS has made great strides to battle blood cancers. In those past 11 years my mom missed both of my kids' graduations, the birth of two more grandchildren and her her oldest grandchild getting married. I'm sorry, but that sucks. We all miss and feel her absence on a daily basis. She would want us to keep that from happening from other families and that is why our family does what it can to raise funds for LLS.
