About this campaign

Vet expenses add up quickly! Our local animal rescue groups need your help.Bones for Bonnie has chosen to raise money to put towards the vet bill for Dixieland Dog Rescue.

Bones for Bonnie was founded to help local animal rescue groups lower their vet bills. While fostering a pregnant stray (Bonnie) that was hit by a car, I quickly saw vet billsgo well over a thousand dollars just for her care. Dixieland Dog Rescue stepped up to help me with much of the cost.This experience led me to the idea of choosing 1 local rescue group every 2 months to organize a fundraising campaign for in honor of Bonnie. Just in case you were wondering, Bonnie is now doing wonderfully in foster up north awaiting her furever home. She is my inspiration and my heart.
