What is “Bowling for Rhinos”? The American Association of Zoo Keepers (AAZK) sponsors an annual fundraiser bowl-a-thon called Bowling for Rhinos (BFR). Join zoo keepers and employees at one of two sessions for bowling and the opportunity to discuss the animals they care for. Over 60 AAZK chapters have raised more than $4 million since 1990 to support three conservation projects; including, Lewa Wildlife Conservancy in Kenya, the International Rhino Foundation and Action for Cheetahs in Kenya. Our efforts continue to make great strides in protecting the world’s rhinos, in addition to hundreds of other endangered plant and animal species that share their habitat.
