About this campaign

After following the amazing story of Afton Wallace and her family, I decided that my fiber farm, Blaine Fleece and Fiber, was going to hold a fundraiser to support the Malala Fund - we want to be #AftonStrong and help girls all over the world receive an education!

Afton Wallace was a teenager who fought against the odds - after her cancer diagnosis in 2014, she wasn't given much time to live - she fought for a year in order to reach her biggest goal - graduating from high school.  Not only did she achieve this goal, but she earned the highest ACT score in her graduating class, as well as numerous academic achievements - all while receiving countless chemotherapy and radiation treatments.  Afton passed away today, and my wish is to honor her by helping girls around the world receive an education.
