Kahri Smalley was discharged from the United States Navy after just one month and seven days of active duty time due to keratoconus. The treatments that cure this condition did not exist when the military policy of disqualification was created. These treatments are very expensive, but necessary steps toward accomplishing his goals of influencing a change in that old military policy, getting back into the U.S. Navy, and serving with honor, courage and commitment for many years. www.beyondk.org
