Because IMALIVE - Suicide Prevention

In our 5 years we have seen a lot of things. We have talked to people in elementary to high school, who were getting bullied. Talked people through their exam weeks in college. Talked to moms who were under appreciated and over worked. We talked to veterans who suffered deeply from what they had seen, and men who struggle with supporting their family. We talked to people who needed someone to believe in them. 5 years is a long time, there were a lot of people who needed hope. We were able to see a difference made in people's lives and of course we have seen a huge difference in our own lives. With every new volunteer we see the circle of global support grow and the stigma around mental health support, shrink. 5 years is a long time, but who knew IMAlive would grow this much in the first years? We want the next 5 years to be just as beneficial, impactful and life changing for us and for the people reaching for hope. Supporting IMAlive doesn't just support our volunteers for 1 day, it saves peoples lives. We have already been able to do that for 5 years, won't you help us do that for another 5?


IMAlive is a live online network that uses instant messaging to respond to people in crisis. People need a safe place to go during moments of crisis and intense emotional pain.
We are the first online crisis service with 100% of its professionally supervised volunteers trained in crisis intervention.
