About this campaign
The Aztecs is a Club Basketball team that was founded in
Kyle, Texas in the spring of 2015 by Head Coach Dr. Octavio Pimentel,
otherwise known as Coach P, and his Assistant Coach James "Kimo" Percy. The team manager is Dr. Charise Pimentel. Combined,
the Aztecs' staff has over 30 years of coaching experience.
The
goal of the Aztecs is to give young women an opportunity to build
their self- steem an confide ce throu h the ga e of basketb ll. In
hopi g to reach t is goal, the coac es work hard in developing critical
thinking, tough decision making, and communication skills on the court
that will undoubtedly transfer over to the players' academics, and more
importantly, in life. It is important to note though that the coaching
staff takes basketball very serious and thus requires many hours of
extensive workouts in order for the girls to become better basketball
players.
Currently, our team has a 6th grade team as well as a 7th/8th grade team
