At only 17 years old, Austin has battled more health issues than most people endure in a lifetime, including muscular dystrophy. He is getting weaker and weaker as each day passes. It is absolutely heartbreaking to watch him become more frustrated as he looses the ability to do things he could once do. He now requires the fulltime use of a power chair to get around. When not in his chair,Austin must rely on someone to carry him, as he can no longer crawl or scoot around on his own. Despite all of this, Austin is a happy, loving kid who loves to make everyone else happy. His smile can light up a room!!!

Austin LOVES the color purple, drinking his Starbucks, anything Disney, going shopping, getting "fan mail" and all things Bailee Madison (just to name a few). He has lots of places to go and things he'd love to do... go to the circus... go to Kennywood Amusement Park... swim with dolphins... revisit Disney and Universal Studios to attend "Wizarding World of Harry Potter" and his ultimate dream is to one day meet actress, Bailee Madison.

Among these dreams, there is also the daily need to make life easier and more accessible for Austin. Whether it's maintenance on his wheelchair van, modifying his power chair,building ahandicapramp orsimply a special device to help relieve his pain& discomfort... the need is there!!!
