About this campaign

Help US Raise Money to help Ashlie and her family while she starts her battle with breast cancer.

Our new home away from home. July 13, Ashlie Bienek and her family got some of the worst news that nobody wants to ever hear. She has Breast Cancer. The information below is her post of how she found out and what every female needs to know.
At first, I wanted it kept a secret, I was scared and heart broken. I felt like I had just been handed a death sentence. I keep hearing just stay positive- keep your head up, but that's so incredibly hard to think anything positive about Cancer. I want to grow old with Kyle and I want to watch my babies grow up. We have so many plans and so many dreams and I don't want that taken away from us. BUT now I want everyone, every lady young or old to know that Cancer does not discriminate against age. I kept hearing after my biopsy, "Don't worry, you're too young to have Breast Cancer". Well way wrong. Therefore, I am urging all of you ladies to please keep up with your self exams/yearly exams. Even if it is small please get an ultrasound or mammogram. Last August, my doctor noticed a small lump, but said it was fibrocystic. Then in June, I kept seeing this ad on FB asking, "do you know the signs of breast cancer"? It was an ad that kept coming up and appeared in my news feed multiple times a day. It was God's way of telling me I needed to do a self exam. So one afternoon, I decided to do my self exam, and that's where this journey begins. Lastly, I am so very grateful for all the people who have reached out to me, Kyle, and my family. This is a road I am not prepared to travel down or even want to think about taking but I am not alone. Kyle is my rock and God is my strength. With these by my side, Cancer is the one with this battle. NOT ME. Your grace abounds in deepest waters
Your sovereign hand will be my guide
Where feet may fail and fears surrounds me
You've never failed, and you won't start now.
