Raising funds for Ashley Gays Medical Bills

My friend, Ashley Gay and her family are going through an extremely difficult time right now. Her family is at their breaking point. Over the past four/five years she's been very ill. She has a condition known as Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and Chiari Malformation. She's had four major neurosurgeries, which her family has had to pay for out of pocket. Because her disease is rare, she sees a neurosurgeon in Maryland who specializes in her condition and sees people from all over the world, so he doesn't take insurance. Not only do her parents have to pay for the expensive surgeries, but also the testing he recommends (which usually isn't covered by insurance), the gas, hotels, meals, and tolls. The last few months Ashley's dad has had to stay home with her because she is unable to walk (and has been for the past year) and is now completely bedridden. She can't put herself on the portable toilet next to her bed, get herself food, etc. so he is no longer getting paid and is out of vacation days. Her mom, doesn't have many days left and can't afford to not get paid if her dad isn't. After her last surgery, she got drastically worse and began having extreme pressure in her head, she can't sit up or move without instantly crying because the pressure increases. She is also extremely nauseated and can't eat or drink most of the time without instantly vomiting. She has uncontrollable jerking in her arms and legs along with other horrible symptoms. She is going to need another surgery and her family could really use the help, support, and prayers.
