Company Overview Animal Rescue. We started from humble beginnings and growth is not always as fast as we would like as there are so many out there that need us. Currently we are trying to get kennels built and we do have an amazing six dog home and poles but we still need all the rest. We are located in Silsbee TX and any who wish to visit us are welcome. You can call anytime (409)622-2571. Currently we run our entire rescue with just myself and my husband out of our home and with few facilities. I work a full time job to keep our bills paid and my husband (who cannot see well enough to get his drivers license any longer) runs an online business and takes care of the babies. We survive solely on donations and that is why we have an open door policy. No money donated to our rescue goes to personal use. We understand that people hesitate to donate because they want to know where their hard earned dollars are going. Any who donate can view our receipts and files on request (in fact, any one else is welcome also). We hide nothing. Description We are a small out of home rescue that has managed to save over 100 dogs and several other animals since August 2014. We managed that from our home with very little in the way of facilities and with only the support of a few very wonderful fellow Ark Angels. We have given our home to these babies including taking one bedroom and turning it into a “hospital” room and another and turning it into a “nursery”. We have almost 30 dogs here now with nothing but our home, a few simple runners and donated dog houses. We struggle everyday to make a place for the daily calls we receive but unless we get the help we need for more facilities we will be limited in how much we can do. There is no limit to what we are willing to do, there is only a limit to what we can do with available funds and facilities. With better facilities and enough donations for our 501C3 we can get help from volunteers and corporate donations. It is our dream to see our rescue become a premier location for saving and loving. We are so blessed for the few that stand with us and help us to continue our work but we so need many more of you to stand up and help us. We do everything we can to cut corners without sacrificing the babies. Our vet is absolutely wonderful and does all he can to help us but he has employees and bills to pay. He can only do so much. We buy what supplies we can from outside (Jeffers for most and medical supply for others) but some things simply have to be done at the vet. Our funds are limited and it takes a lot of time and energy to care for these babies. Without fellow Ark Angels we will be even more limited in what we can do. We will never give up and we will sacrifice all we have for them but we really need YOU.
